17:25 pre listening - In the Presence Of Loss
I've had the pleasure and delight of listening to a work mixdown of liminal's upcoming musical delivery, gnitially I was going to work on the artwork for the album and oh boy I'm so glad I didin't beacuse I enjoy so much the work of Rodolfo de Florencia - and the drawings the band used to skin 'In the Presence Of Loss' are perfect for this album), these series of improvisational works have a depth to them that I must say I absolutely get transported everytime I hear them. I might add that it's a beautiful album, with gorgeous spiritual moments; can't wait to hear the final mix.

The thing, you see is that, I'm personally attached to this songs although I had nothing to do with them nor with the recording itself, but its the fact that the title reminded me of my own personal losses, today I ignited some copal while listening to the recordings, and stopped to meditate all the things I've lost for not knowing how t deal with the loss of two humans that were very close to me (one of them still alive but long gone sort of) and the other my mother, gone 15 years ago -more or less round the time when I had a band with Liminal's drummer Marcelo. The irony of it is that while being swallowed real deep in this trance inducing rite of memories and losses and sound I realized that its' never too late to forgive others but must especially oneself and to never forget that people don't just go they are still here they just trade their skins, to gather new experiencies, to grow into this intertwined spiral that conform our lives - I do happen to see a clear connection behind all of this...now my rite is to stay connected with today,nothing more to feel alive, but to honor those who made us possible every single day of our existence, with joy.
R.I.P.- T.N.A. - R.A.S. dont you worry about a thing I got you covered, love you both, and Im deeply thankful for bringing me here.
